The Verus Engineering Dive Plane (Canard) Kit adds front-end downforce without the necessity of moving the front splitter further forward. The dive planes are able to be installed with 3M VHB tape or bolts and nuts. Paper templates are included to ensure proper install location is achieved for maximum benefits.
Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software during the R&D process, we were able to extract more performance for the given build volume; increasing downforce generated from the dive planes. We designed these units using scan data obtained internally; ensuring an OE like fit and finish on the units.
The dive plane kit was designed for owners looking to shift aero balance forward to help aid in balancing out a large rear wing or diffuser.

Dive planes, when designed properly, can increase front end grip and corner speed through improving front end downforce and reducing lift in other areas of the vehicle. We utilized OpenFOAM CFD software to improve the performance of our dive plane kit.
The dive planes are part of the Ventus 1 and 2 packages for the GR / GV WRX/STI. The Verus Engineering Ventus 1 package adds a slight bump in downforce over the factory with minimal drag impact; while the Ventus 2 kit kicks that up a notch and dramatically increases downforce with a bit of added drag. We developed the Ventus 2 kit to provide a safe aerodynamic balance at speed to ensure safety and improved handling at high rates of speed. The Verus Engineering Ventus 2 package helps the GR/GV WRX get more from the tires at the track as well as improved confidence on the street. The Ventus 2 package is more geared towards a track car, but can still be utilized on a daily.
